if it snows here i have to work hell of alot more hours due to i work at a tire shop and when it snows people freak out so my days turn into 12+ hours, so i dont want snow

at least it's more OT for you.... i know what you mean though. a 12hr day here and there is OK, but when you get 'em for a week straight they really start to wear on you!

screw that, lol. is it one of those typically filthy tire shops too? the one i got my tires at, great guys to deal with but holy hell i think i've seen cleaner landfills, lol.

oh no this place is spotless, if there are no cars to change tires on we have to clean, and clean and clean, so basicly in one day the whole store get a complete clean like 3 times

oh ok, i'd say that's probibly a good thing then. i hate working in a filthy shop, and it seems like mom & pop tire places usually are pretty scummy.

Hey. when i did the bucket seat change in my ’03 usinf what I think are 02 bucket seats, I noticed a couple of things.

First, the 60% seat/console mounting is partially bolted in place. You need to remove the back of the seat first and then unbolt the side section. It was a while back but i actually used my original frame from the driver’s seat on the replacement bucket; the bolts are all under the seat.

Next, The seat pans, the part everything bolts to and the foam is connected to, both the drive’s side and the passenger’s side are the same and interchangeable. There are holes on both sides of the pan so either a Driver’s or Passenger’s side track will bolt up. (there are hole for the levers on both sides)
So what does this equate to… if you can find a good passenger side seat, which is a standard bucket (the 4-% side) you should be able to bolt your original driver’s side track to it.

The only thing is I am not sure of your truck is a ’97 and mine is an ’03 so I am not sure if your seats are the same but everything else body wise is close why not the seats.

Check it out before cutting for the 60/40 mod, it could save you some cutting and if you find a good passenger seat to match it will same a lot of work.

I hope this is understandable, I tend to ramble… lol

Another thing… if you have the center console with the separate arm rest there is a fix for the arm rest sag.
Rock Auto has a kit that works well.

i have a 97 and its different from the 03. i dont want to spend extra money or else i would just get a passenger side. there isnt a fix because the console is only bolted onto one side like 98+. that fix dosent work for 3rd gens.

yea i had issues too.....and may be ordering this next week :D

Not sure what happened with the site either...
Last night/this morning about 2am it seemed ok, but this afternoon I kept getting "site not found" errors.
