2011 Ranger 2.3 - axle information

Canadian models...are XL and XLT.
XLT did have L.S and T.C.S....but only as options and only available if you ordered the 4.0L V6.....

and my thoughts on that are...If I'm gonna pour the fuel into something as big as a 4.0L:eek: ......it better be attached to at least an F150...

Mr. helipilot. Your reply is complicated to quote so I'll just reply here in a normal post.

I didn't understand what you meant by "imp gal". Thanks for clearing that up. It's hard to understand and to fully help someone who doesn't give their location. This would probably be why I kept referring to U.S. model Rangers and their numbers 'cause we didn't know.

Could you do us Americans a favor? Post up some pics of your rear axle?? Namely the passenger side and brake backing plate area. I'd like to see the differences between a Canadian Ranger and a U.S. Ranger of the same model year. Could very well be totally possible the US Fed anti-roll standards weren't applied to Canadian trucks they were built along side of.

No need to store extra tires around....sell 'em. That'll recoup some dollars in the swap.

Pretty neat what you're flying. I can't even remember what my friends are flying with rotors. I know one is flying a NOTAR Hughes and a 500. Though I do know what my other friends are flying with wings....Pilatus PC-12, Cessna 207, DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter, Metro. Then the numerous GA Private planes. Most notably a few PT-17 derivatives and a Bellanca Pacemaker...Hawaiian Airlines very first airplane.

Ahh ...no problem..
I was labouring under the impression that my location was posted....I'll change that up shortly.
Bellanca Pacemaker....lovely bird. I fly a Piper PA18 Super Cub on floats as my 'fun' plane...!

I'll take a pic of the rear axle...but rest assured...there is no TCS ...only ABS.

Found a set of 3.55 with less then 1000 kms on 'em
Got a limited slip w/ carrier assy for $273 + tax

A warm Sunday...a box of beer...and couple of pies....and it's a done deal!

Anyone looking for a brand new set of 4.10's?

Cheers

I'd love one day to be able to get my GA License and build a Carbon Cub!

Speaking of floats......this would be the Bellanca...

She's since been sold to Hawaiian Airlines and is currently under another complete restoration to it's original Hawaiian glory.
