Mr. helipilot. Your reply is complicated to quote so I'll just reply here in a normal post.
I didn't understand what you meant by "imp gal". Thanks for clearing that up. It's hard to understand and to fully help someone who doesn't give their location. This would probably be why I kept referring to U.S. model Rangers and their numbers 'cause we didn't know.
Could you do us Americans a favor? Post up some pics of your rear axle?? Namely the passenger side and brake backing plate area. I'd like to see the differences between a Canadian Ranger and a U.S. Ranger of the same model year. Could very well be totally possible the US Fed anti-roll standards weren't applied to Canadian trucks they were built along side of.
No need to store extra tires around....sell 'em. That'll recoup some dollars in the swap.
Pretty neat what you're flying. I can't even remember what my friends are flying with rotors. I know one is flying a NOTAR Hughes and a 500. Though I do know what my other friends are flying with wings....Pilatus PC-12, Cessna 207, DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter, Metro. Then the numerous GA Private planes. Most notably a few PT-17 derivatives and a Bellanca Pacemaker...Hawaiian Airlines very first airplane.
