Yeah I did lol! Dude, I wish Yeah its good stuff, good time to buy, fresh cut trees in the winter means less moisture so this will be seasoned by june!
yeah, we've been cutting our own since we built our house. we heat with a wood stove all winter. and theres always tons of trees that need cutting down. heck some people in town even paid us to cut some down. Paid to heat our house lol, cant complain on that! brother just bought 10 acres with tons of old trees that need cutting. so we will have free heat for many many years to come. nothing beats wood heat
I like it, but its tough doing it solo sometimes. It is the cheapest way to heat the house. Unfortunately I buy the logs, but they are cheap. I usually get alot from storms, lately more pine has been falling than anything though.
yeah its not easy work thats for sure, especially cutting the right down and getting rid of al lthe branches and what not. but, gives me something to do in the summer, and gives the ranger something to do as well.
