i am planning on getting my conceled weapons permit this year as well than i wont have to worry and i'll grab a pistol.

 

Round here you can have a hand gun on you as long as you're 18 or older and it's in open sight, and can carry it in a vehicle if it's unloaded without the permit.

Check with the local Sherriff's office and see. You may not need a permit to carry if you just intend on leaving it in the truck.

 

no u dont but i want to carry it on me when i leave the truck. its nice when there is shooting every day in the city my grandma lives in. spent the night there last night and was woke up to automatic gun fire and yelling outside her house down the street some. a gang gun fight broke out in the streets

 

If you carry it on your hip and people can see it, then you may not need it still. And damn, I thought my area was bad...

 

ya it was bad it all happened at 4 am. i'm glad i had a house alarm and such installed in my grandmas house.
