Yeah I got the same problem Ryan.. 3.73s not too bad, I can live with it but the open diff really grinds my gears..
Pardon my ignorance, but isn't the open diff where both back wheels are engaged rather than the limited slip that only engages one?
Other way around Pete.. if your wheels break loose and it let's one wheel spin that's an open diff, as to where limited slip/posi trac 'limits the slipping' by transferring the power to the wheel that's not spinning..

Let's see here. A MINIMUM of $250 for a L/S (reliable). $100 for a rebuild kit, $300 for labor, PLUS another $60 for u-bolts. So total of around $700. OR go to a JY like I suggested and get a used axle for around $200. Do the math. :thumbsup:
