I was gonna do clear corners, but my dad found a stock headlight at the yard we're just gonna put on for now. I'm gonna niteshade em sometime soon and smoke the tails. SSSSSSHHHHHHH!!!!!!! He doesn't want it but I know once he sees it, he'll like it. lol
UPDATE! Yesterday we got a ton done! While my dad was at work, I pulled the front bumper and fender off along with all the innerds that were attached to the fender. Then we realized that we got the wrong rad, went to the jy to get a hood and a rad out of a running truck, and then the fittings on the second rad wouldn't work... So now I will be getting a new rad tomorrow. We got the new fender on, new headlight working, and all that's left to do is put the bumper on, pull the valence off of the old bumper, and throw it on the new, then put the radiator back in, fill 'er up with coolant, and paint the fender and hood. Then she'll be as good as new. Onto the pics! The bumper mount on the left gave me a hell of a time yesterday... It must have taken about 25% of the skin from my fingers off because the bolt was jammed in there from the impact, and the splines stripped out on it. So we had to go get a new torx bit because the one I had was too small and after attacking the thing with a sledgehammer and crowbar, we finally managed to get the damn thing out. Air intake, washer fluid reservoir, computer removed... Fenderwell removed I can't quite tell what it is, but something looks like it's missing... Any ideas? All of the parts taken off New (used) fender and headlight assembly After yanking at the rad support with a chain and my truck to bend it back, we finally got it all lined up and back together. Getting there..... The new (used) hood. $35 for it, and only thing wrong with it is that I sheared a bolt off when trying to take it off yesterday. Damn thing snapped under barely any pressure....... The new rad that turned out not to work... Hoping to finish it this weekend, then get her painted whenever we get the chance.
I was happy with myself. My dad came home and asked me if my buddy Tom came over to help lol Then two minutes later, guess who came up in his Fairlane? lol
Thanks guys. I learned a lot from what I did so far. And I'm enjoying it a lot even though I'm missing a lot of skin. Haha
SHE LIVES!!!!!! SHE MOTHER****ING LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Need to touch up a few things and get the new hood on, but she ****ing runs and drives like nothing happened!
I'll get one tomorrow lol Maybe take her and do some donuts in the dirt or something haha. I friggin peeled out of the spot in front of the house. I'm amazed my parents haven't called me about it yet lol
As Craig requested...... She FLIES. So much faster than the Ranger by a long shot. Anyways, went to the jy today and pulled a hood for it that was nearly perfect and all black.
