Badass Plate! would like to see the skids when they are done. I thought about possibly putting a plate and some skids on my mom's Rav 4 just because we take that sucker anywhere!
how much POR-15 do you guys think I need to do my frame? Ill be doing it in sections. First section will be wheel wells and middle of truck frame extending out to the rockers. And does this stuff harden or can you reopen and reuse at anytime?
got myself a husqvarna 55 rancher chainsaw today for free, 32" bar, fairly big saw unfortinitly it was abused quite a bit, the frame is held to the motor with wooden dowls, handle is all taped up, the chain is rusted to the bar, chain brake don't work, and it's got no spark. but it's got damn good compression, so i think i can save it.
Well, Im sure y'all have noticed I havent been on much lately. A couple weeks ago, my gf's jeep started ticking and knocking horribly. So I parked it and found a parts jeep for $400. Turns out the motor only had 90K on it and looked imaculate inside (not even any sludge in the oil pan). Got the swap finished today and had time to take the oil pan off. Turns out #5 piston shattered for some reason. There was no other noticable damage.
Yea dude...it was quite the job. I've been working nonstop on the thing for 3 weekends now. Have about 35-40 hours in it.
