So boys, this was MY weekend....My brother has a 93 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl, 5 speed. He blew the back of his transfer case off last weekend, ruining his driveshaft AND rear axle yoke. I ran into a problem installing the other transfer case we had off of his old 4 cyl. jeep. (they're both NP231s, so there shouldnt be a problem, right? WRONG!) Turns out after the 4th time lifting the damn thing in the air I realized they had different output splines on the transmission! I had to completely dissasemble both transfer cases and swap out the planetary gears/input shafts. Oh and the driveshafts are different lengths too, so I had to cut it down and reweld the damn thing! DONT BUY JEEPS!..lol
your day sucks^ i got my new muffler on. used clamps for now till i can get to a welder. and it started raining. ugh.
I can't stand this school anymore... Too many people have that "I'm always right and know everything, and you're just dumb and know nothing" mentality....
