Lil' Red's coming along to my liking nicely!

    Actually 2 out of the 3 bolts for the hub assembly are cross-threaded and arent tight. I told you that earlier today lol

    I can take care of it lol It was the same day that we changed the CV axles that I threw that on, and it was about 11:30 at night that I was doing it. I was tired as hell. I'll change it out when I get some time. Probably Wednesday I'll do it.

    hope you didnt **** up the threads on the hub assy...or guess what...youre gonna be buying a new hub...get new bolts because im willing to bet those threads are messed up

    I have two extra hubs sitting in the garage lol And I'll look the boltd over good to make sure nothing's wrong with em. But if I do need em, where can I get them? Just a hardware store?

    yea you prolly could but they more than likely they wont be the right grade...just get them from ford...will prolly cost about the same

    Alright, I'll check with them. If I were to get them from the store, grade 8 is the only kind I get for the truck.

    Im 90% Sure theyre a metric flanged grade 10.9 bolt which is very difficult to find. I would suggest Ford Direct replacement bolts or go to a JY.

    I dont know if they're crossthreaded. He said they wouldnt go in any further so he thought it was ok to drive it like that :D ;)

    It's one of Clinton's old hubs, so for all I know something could be messed up with the hub.

    Thanks man. I can't wait to get the new lights on top. Gotta have my buddy help me clean her up first though. Nbd. Just some sanding and painting
