Ah gotcha. I had a similar deal years and years ago going over a mountain pass. Sounds like the guy was pretty cool about it after being such a d!ck.

If PD called the trucks in, and the truck is impounded til you get a release for it, if they try to charge you for 3 trucks, argue it. I yanked a flipped Bimmer out of a ditch 20' down with a flatbed. Called a second truck in for more chain and strap. Homeboys there didn't know what they were doing.

That will NOT buff out, but it should be fixable... time to think of new mods while you're at it.
 
That's what happened with us. When we were trying to get out of the truck, the guys who were in the other truck had turned around to help us out. Like I said before, they told me they were trying to let me pass. But I know they were just trying to cover their asses. It was nice of them to stop though, I guess.

Mhm, the county cop on the scene called them in. I will argue about it.

We're more than likely just gonna get a new cab. All I know is that I'm gonna have to get a lot more hours in at work to be able to pay all of this off. Hello 6-10 hour days.
 
Well, gonna go pick up the Beaner tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous to see what kind of condition it is really in.

Apparently it's gonna be close to $500, which is completely ridiculous. I may definitely try and argue my way outta some of it. Sooo wish me luck, I suppose. Will get pictures up.
 
WOW glad ya'll are ok! I also work for a towing company. You can try to talk them down about the price and what not but, just an fyi you probably won't get anywhere. With the fact being they sent out the 3 trucks means there hurting for money or completely stupid! but good luck to ya'll and glad you guys are safe!
 
Went and picked her up this morning, $500 later. And the beast still runs.

I did not argue, just for the fact that I was happy the truck looked way better than I thought it would. And all of my stuff was still in there. However, I am very pissed off that instead of not damaging the truck further by just putting a strap straight through the cab to get it back on all fours, they put a hook right through the cab. Now that, I am pissed about.
 
Thats actually not that bad at all, new fender, nock the dents out of the bed for now, new cab and your good.

Prices are set by the jurisdiction that called it in.... Pretty much only thing that can be haggled is the days in the yard. Will add tho.....could be a newbie driver not confident in his skills and called others in. Could also be possible the other one(or two) were bored and nearby. I've experienced both and extra trucks weren't charged unless they were needed. Moot point me typing this out though. haha.
