Hey guys! Today is a sad/good day on RF. I traded my Ranger! Took an hour treck to a dealership and they had a truck that was hard to pass up. Its a 1992 F-250. 140k and in immaculate condition! 2 door, long bed, automatic, 4 wheel drive, Hancook MTs and the icing on the cake: 460. Yea she gets 11 mpg but my payments are literally a QUARTER of what they were! Win win! I know what yer thinkin: were gonna lose another RF member... not true. You guys are too great to pass up! I aint leavin here! Ill still get on here often and chat it up with you guys! Who knows, maybe Ill get another Ranger someday

every time you post about your truck it seems like you mention the payments. why did you buy a truck you couldn't afford? living the american dream...
Pics or new truck didn't happen Hate to see your ranger gone, but I can't blame you on wanting to get rid of a huge payment... maybe you can afford an older one to play around with now that you'll have all that extra money
460 FTW, awsome engine but thirsty! my buddie's '86 F350 has a 460, when he first started driving it i swear it got 1 MPG or less, lol. but it is FAST!
:wallbash::wallbash: Oh man...... did they at least use some lube??? Trading an 2011 Ranger with low miles and a warranty, for a 20 year old truck with no warranty, "as is"? Personally, if you couldn't afford the payments for a new 2011 Ranger, i would have gone and found a nice 2001-2004 ranger, and traded it for that. :wallbash::wallbash:
OP must be pulling our legs. sheit, the cost of fuel to start that thing up will eat up a QUARTER of the old payment. Then driving it to the fuel station will eat another QUARTER payment. Then just the monthly usage will eat up another HALF a payment Thats right boys, your math is correct. New "old" truck = full old payment plus a QUARTER! yikes!
Ok ok guys quit bein *******s lol. Ill start from the top: I HAD a job that could afford the payments. Lost the job, and got another that pays less, thus the inability to pay. I did get money back from my truck, although not much. I was happier with the payments. I dont understand how everyone thinks I shoulda got an extra 4 grand back from my truck
You were trying to sell it for 11k.....? You traded it for a 1992 worth maybe 3,500. You still have payments. Something is wrong with the picture.
