So i got started at 12 today putting the lift on....and twenty minutes in broke both lower shock mounts!....WTF, thats my luck though especailly the way the past few days have been going. So i spent all day fixing them, then didn't have enough time to finish it so i just broke all the bolts free, loaded em up with pb blaster. So hopefully tomoro it should be done, by tomoro. should be pretty easy now that everything is broke free and will come off im praying i can just zing through it all. :( somebody cheer me up cuz today and yesterday ****ing sucked!!!!!

Napa sells em. They're dirt cheap and easy to fix. Cut the old one off and drill it out. The new one bolts right on

Still no go....got alot done though! Pivot mounts are installed, shocks and coils are ready to go in. The pitman arm screwed me over today, damn thing will not come off, i broke 2 pitman arm pullers, tried the torches, Still nothing. This thing will not move! So tomoro i get to take off work(woohoo). So now im shooting for tomoro to get this pig done. Praying everything goes ok, hoping the weather holds up. :sigh:

It's a LOT easier if you just remove the whole steering box from the vehicle, put it on the work bench and try removing it. Takes less time to do this. You MIGHT end up haveing to cut the damn thing off. I had to do that on my F150. They get stuck on there.

Well if it won't come off, i atleast have a parts truck with a good steering box so if it comes down to it....i have a spare. Im gonna try to split the pitman arm in the morning, take the cut off wheel to it....everything up front is ready to go except the stupid pitman arm. I haven't even started on the rear yet but the rear is cake work. Ugh **** is frustrating, well hopefully ill have some pics up tomoro, i have been taking a couple pics with my cell so you guys can see the **** i went through lol!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!front is lifted, finally...ran out of time to put the blocks in the rear but the front is done! Im going to take the truck for an alignment tomoro, then hopefully put the blocks in on wednesday on my day off. God i am so glad its finally done. the ****ing thing fought me the whole way idk what the hell it was but shiz was just not working out...took me 3 12 hour days like wtf and thats only the front. got half way threw today and realized that rc didn't send me enough bolts...all kinds of little **** that just killed me for time. No pics of after being lifted cuz i didn't get done til 1030 but will have some pics up tomoro, ugh im beat!
