Here's a new thread just for my new plug-in led's for reverse lights, turn signals & brake lights. Check back often for updates. First up is some of my modded 3156 base WHITE led's. these have 68 led's per bulb & are plug-n-play for most reverse light sockets that use the 3156 t25 style bulb bases. These are SINGLE element, meaning a single intensity FULL power at all times. (this pic was during the modding process & they're kinda ugly but once they're completed, they look a LOT better. Couple pics in my extra 01 tail light reverse section: Couple pics in my 01 tail lights brake/turn section: The pics don't do them justice as to how bright they are, especially in the reverse section. They are quite bright in the red sections, but not quite as deep/vibrant red as my other red led's are. I have ONE pair of these made up right now. $14.00 shipped in the USA.

Yea, I've been wanting to mod some super bright led's into reverse, brake & turns for a while. Finally got a couple in to play with & this is the first set finished. I already used up all my bulb bases though. Oh, this set just sold
hey buggz how is the light output from them? as far as light reaching out?? really interesting question ive been thinking.
Yeah, I would like to know this because I was thinking about getting auxiliary lights mounted to the rear bumper for helpers.
Well, I can't say they're as bright as a set of driving or fog lights as far as distance goes, my little oval h3 driving lights mounted under my roll pan will probably shine farther... ... but they actually look brighter than my old 63 led bulbs that cost a heck of a lot more I haven't had a chance to take my power supply & 01 tail light outside at night to play with them... just got them finished this afternoon but I'll try to do a little testing as soon as I get some semi nice weather. Almost forgot, all the pics were taken at right around 12v, when the trucks are running they're likely to output closer to 14.5v and be even brighter. I can hardly look at them at 12v & at 14.5v they were blinding me nline2long:
awesome man, ill wait to see more pics but im gonna mass order from ya sooner or later gonna get both tail and reverse lights plus cluster bulbs from ya, if you want just let me know when you have them made and ill send you money!
I have good bulbs bro, I just want something that lights up more for when I'm in the woods. Might just go aux light so I can have em for when I need em, and they don't blind people when I don't.
Well I can't imagine these lights are 'blinding' when in the tails I think Terry just means out of the housing they make his eyes hurt..
Buggman strikes again lol. So if Im reading this right, these will work for both reverse AND tail lights?
AWESOME! I love bright brake lights. I might order 4 sets so I can have bright tails and reverse! Hey buggman, have you made anything yet thatll make my fog lights brighter?
Right now the white 68 led bulbs will be single element 3156's, but I'm working on a pair of 3157 dual elements that will work in brake/turns. The bulb holders have a slight difference in an alignment notch on the sides, but I think I can remove or mod that notch so they'll work in either bulb socket. As soon as they arrive, I'll be modding a set of the same 68 led arrays in RED for a more vivid red in the brakes/turns. They're definitely bright in the tail reverse housing, but like all led's they won't have quite the distance as halogen blubs will.
