as having the AT2's, I vote other. Those grabbers sucked, big time. But, I suppose it all depends on what your looking for in a tire. BTW, those AT2's are now on my buddies liberty, he hates them. He says it feels like he is driving on a factory street tire. Said they suck balls in the snow.
Firestone destination....What model? AT or MT? I loved my MT's they went through anything. Only downfall is they dont have much siping so they suck on wet pavement. For an All terrain tire, I would say BFG AT or Falken's rocky mountain ATS
my bfgs ats arent really that good in snow or mud..they cake up. i almost got stuck with them in about 2 inches of snow yesterday cause they caked up and wouldnt grip..clinton runs firestones in winter he loves them.
Im running the destination AT's on my F-150 and they are unstoppable in the snow and are also great in the rain. I was a BFG only guy until I bought these Destinations now I wont go back. The BFG AT's are great tires but arent worth the extra $400 a set over the Destinations especially since the Destinations out perform the BFG's. Check tire rack and read the reviews in the AT segment, the destinations come in at #1, Grabbers at #5 and the BFG's at #10 in ratings. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=ORAT
I guess the difference for me was partly that I got my bfgs for such a good price. I think you're right though I might not have bought them new
I like the look and thread of the firestone http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Firestone&tireModel=Destination+A%2FT&partnum=375SR5DESTATOWL&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes
Let me know what you go with man, because I'm thinking about the Firestone's too. They're cheap and good.
It might not be till next year. I Hate my GY Wranglers with a passion but I want to get the most out of them even though they have no thread to begin with. I priced 4 Firestone 235/75/r15 and they are about $700
my dad could do it for me he had the machine, but he doesnt . but its normally a small fee so it isnt so bad
