i have no idea, but thats what happened to my old mk2 i sold to my buddy he took it for a road trip and melted the block because the motor got to hot because of working to hard

haha you would think so but the motor is tiny in these things i mean i can lift it my left because it weights 70lbs
yeah it is and theres soo much room under the hood that i put a small tool box in it to hold my needed stuff
haha i say it was smart thinking on vws part to make an engine small that you still have room to cram other stuff in
