this. sometimes it just feels like the world is laughing at you. i got my eye poked out a couple months ago, and now i'm blind in my right eye. i was really bummed for weeks, and still get to thinking 'why me' but it passes. and i realize how lucky i am in other aspects. just have to find the silver linings, sometimes, that's all there is.
