well, got my trimmer home and used it, worked great! i wound up buying a weed eater from wally world, i got the second cheapist model they had, it's a little longer, used the same size line as my old ryobi, and has an automatic choke (pretty neat feature, i gotta say). weighs something like 8 lbs. it worked great too, i'm really happy with it

power valve isnt staying full of fuel so when you get on it hard right from a stop it hesitates then catches and takes off...but its fine if you feather into the gas for a couple seconds then hit it
