Posting has closed down in every forum I post in, funny. Wondering why ? My old House is almost ready to put on the market. Any good carpenters out there in northeastern MA that need some work ?
Got the OX in and the new gears. Running the cable for the OX this AM. Will test drive it today sometime and start breaking in the gears. I went to the local Town Fair Tire, brought a list of the Web Site where I can get my new rims and tires with pricing, most are free shipping. O showed the list, the pricing and asked for a package deal on the new stuff. I got a price $600 dollars more, they told me I couldn’t mount my 12.50 tire on an 8” rim and the clerks hand were tied on the price. WTF, they have a sign stating the lowest price on or off the web, what happened. Oh ya plus tax. Lately everything I attempt is turning to $hit… The local companies are pi$$ing about the web and the web pricing and losing customers but when they get a chance to sell a set of tires and rims they don’t even come close. ltr
hey guys how yall doing? i havent been on here in a long time. i need some advice from you all. so my jeep is killing me on the gas mileage, a tank lasts me 300 miles. so im thinking about selling it and getting a gas efficient 4wd car or suv. anyone have ideas?
My 4x4 EDGE used to get 20-21 but when the larger tires went on it went down fast. Since the re-gear it is up some but not good. I too would say it is unusual for a 4x to get GOOD milage.
I'm thinking about a forester. I may just keep the jeep because I'm transferring to a school where ill have to drive less.
If you have a vehicle that runs well, get approximately 18-20 mpg, IMHO it will not pay to get another vehicle. A new one would be nice, help with the lady situation but the extra payment, extra insurance, to me not worth it. Just my opinion. Good Luck… school, vehicle choice, life
Snow tonight here in MA, not sure how much. House in MA almost done. This site was getting slow before the change, I hope the changes bring people back.
