I dont know if this is repost but I noticed that when I start up my truck (after a day or 2 of it sitting there) the compressor sounds like its tearing itself apart for a 1 second and then it quiets down and you dont hear it. I hear regardless if the compressor is already turned on upon start up or if I turn on the compressor after start up (but the truck needs to be sitting for a day or 2 for the noise to come up, Is this normal? i have read somewhere on here that rangers are known for noisy AC compressor but is this what ppl are talking about?

oh yeah its still covered and Ford better not give me some B-S or change parts I dont need. Or even say because of my painted interior or my silver hvac that they arent going to cover it

If they pull crap like that, email ford themselves. My mother has a cherokee and the dealer tried taking her for thousands of dollars when they should have covered it for free. I told her to email Chrysler in which she did, Chrysler paid a visit to the dealer and made them fix everything for free and refund any money she had given them.
