new expo roof rack mod!!

    and yeah its a hearse lol grandma works at a funeral home..so i bum the garage alot lol

    you get the rack take it apart leave the front cap on measure 36 inches back from there hack saw at 36 slide everything back in throw back cap on. get 6 self tapping screws some sealant and adhesive..put adhesive sealent on bottom set on marks on roof that if your smart put when you measured then just run the self tappers in.

    I want to do this so bad... but I can't find my darn expo roof racks!!! I know I have them somewhere but I haven't been able to find them all winter :(

    Did you drop the headliner or are those self tapping screws pretty short? Seems like the expo's used some funky rivets or something.

    Wonder if they're strong enough to handle some off road lights unsure:

    no i didnt drop headliner just used some 3/4 inch self tappers ans they didint pop thru headliner. it really did come out good.
