Im in the process of swapping from manual to auto. Im physically disabled an can't really take the clutching anymore. Im going into this completely blind lol CLutch went in the truck yesterday an rather then puttin a new clutch in im going to swap to auto. What is all needed for swapping over? I got the trans out and am in desperate need of help! Any help is greatly greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! __________________

a donor truck would be best. make sure you dont get a trans from a 95 or newer. I think I would put in a floor shifter, that would be alot easier than replacing the steering cloumn. Not sure on any electronics. get a donor truck
flywheel, torque converter, trans, wiring, computer, steering column, shifter cable, drive shaft (unless you are 4wd). it really needs to be from the same year as your truck to ensure that the wring will be compatible.
basically you have to buy an automatic 4wd thats your year and if you do that you might as well keep em both and have one for fun and one to drive
trans, ecu, brake pedal assembly, steering column shifter, shifter cable, gear indicator, floor block off plate where old shifter was, carpet or something else to cover the hole in the carpet, and more. put a new clutch in the truck, sell it and buy an auto.
