The Official July 2013 Entry Thread

Welcome to Ranger Forum, Ranger of the Month contest!

Here's how it works:


There will NOT be a nomination process for entries.
Members enter their trucks into the contest themselves and must include the following with their entries:

Year:

Model:

Mileage:

Options:

Mods/Custom Work:

Description:

Garage Link:

Photos:


After 15 days, the Ranger Forum staff will pick 3 members entries. These 3 members will proceed to members voting.


At the end of the month, the truck that has the most votes is the truck of the Month!


Winners receive major bragging rights over other members AND have their trucks put in the ROTM Hall Of Fame!


Only Administrators & Moderators are able to create threads in the Truck of the Month section.







NOW......For the rules:

Ranger of the month will consist of members rangers, whether they are lifted, stock, bagged, stretched, beaten etc.


1. Contestants MUST be an active member on the forum for a minimum of 1 month.

2. The ranger entered, must be the contestants and they must currently own them.

3. Members MUST have a garage for the entered ranger

4. Members who are participating, and receive infractions during the nomination and/or voting process will be removed from the contest.

5. Any cheating, emailing members to vote for someone, that person will be banned automatically for 1 week and will not be eligible to enter the contest until the following calendar year.

6. Any member maliciously attacking, demoralizing, or putting down a members Ranger in the contest, will not be eligible to enter in this contest for a 3 month period.

7. This contest is for Rangers and Mazda B series trucks ONLY

8. Winning members are not eligible to enter the contest again until the following calendar year



Remember guys, this is just a fun thing for the forum, just friendly competition.

Also chit chat about the trucks IS encouraged but please stay on topic.

not to say that it wont be back, but just taking a break from it, have some family issues going on in CA, and trying to move the hell out of Oregon to las vegas... its been a biatch of a summer already, and it barely started
 
i say we give the way its run a rest. having everyone enter, (4 or 5 at most these days) and only picking 3 of them, kinda turns people off from entering.

as does the "only win once a year" there aint enough people here to really justify that.

maybe what we need is ONE contest. a, ranger of the month, where its themed, all entered trucks are put to the poll, and you can win any month you enter, as its not only the truck, but how well you do the theme as well.

Mods/Custom Work: 5” Lift, Coil-Overs, LED Tails and 3rd Brake Light, Black Head Light, Directional Mod, Fog Light Mod, Swap in Buckets, Hurst Shifter with 8-Ball Knob,

Description: Daily Driver, that sees more road than Trails, changed the Bed from a Styleside to a Flareside - always liked the Steppie, Mods are being done as we speak and the new sound system is sitting waiting to go in along with the new front and rear bumpers. Future plans are a LR-5.0L, mod’d just enough to be a good lower end motor, still have the NV45000 and AtlasII 4.3 to go in also.

I still say we should change how we do it lol. The way it's done now, with so little people, doesn't really work to well. As we can clearly see by this months fail lol
 
I'm going to extend the entry thread until the 21st to see I we can get atleast 2 more submissions. if not I would say that the ROTM will be suspended again for lack of interest possibly even done away with since this is the second go around for it here.
