Some of you might find some intrest in this. I built this machine to cut the mother inlaws 1 acre orchard. My first idea was an offset tow behind to cut down on time. Almost a 9' cutting path. I quickly found that in order to cut the usually 1' weeds of the field, I would need to open the front up. The deck folds the weeds over and the blades wont cut it. By having the bend above the blades, everything gets cut.
If you follow the pics you will see that there was alot of redesign and having to go much bigger! The wheels...FAIL! And the first go around of the pulling arm completely ripped off. So I installed a tractor 3-point hitch bar....WIN!

AT THIS POINT, MY WELDER STARTED OVERHEATING. SO I TOOK A MINUTE TO INSTALL A FAN! ITS A DUCT FAN, LOL
