-/+26mpg combined city/highway driving. this with 31 AT tires. Back when I had the stock 29s, it was -/+30mpg.
so mexico is where i have to go to get the crewcab ranger huh, i love your truck i would love tohave one so bad, is there any way i can see pics of the interior pls.
Sure. Some are blurry since they are pretty old pics I took with my old phone. Only mod I've done to the interior is a mustang dome light, because the one it had did not have a cover, and it kinda bothered me. The back seat folds and under it I keep my tools and other stuff.
Ok im gonna make a trip to mexico and buy one of these trucks now this is badass i want one now. Thx for the pics bro very nice truck.
Yes, they are the same. Thanks, man. And if you do pursue the purchase of one, just get a 4x4 crewcab.
Thanks, man. And if you do pursue the purchase of one, just get a 4x4 crewcab. OMG!!!!!!!! Thats the one i want only in black and no roll bar i would be happy with just the truck, yep im for sure getting one now.
The roll bar comes from factory. It's part of the 4x4 look. I don't think it looks good. Plus, the roll bar makes the 5 ft bed less useful.
That sounds like a good project. If Ford only gave us the option of the diesel engine here in Mexico, it would be awesome. But since the quality of the Diesel here sucks, we're stuck with the 2.3L Duratec as the only engine option. SouthAmerica gets the 2.8 Powerstroke option, as well as the Duratec. My idea is to swap a 5.0 once this engine dies...
I did a 5.0, best thing I ever did to my truck. I highly recommend it. If I built a 4 door id probably do a 4bt just because they are easy to find parts for. A 2.8 Powerstroke is an oddity up here to say the least
5.0s are common here. I see lots of old Mustangs, Explorers and trucks around here, so finding one should not be a problem... Diesel cars here are pretty rare. Trucks not so much. I would trade my truck for a 93 f250 7.3L diesel any time. I saw lots of those on the road where I used to live. Fords are pretty common around here...
huh factory roll bars ok ill take those to then, yea im putting some stuff up for sale to get one as i type this.
Maybe a smaller, not chromed roll bar would be enough. I read at some other forum that importing a crewcab Ranger is not impossible. I think you need a letter from Ford stating that the vehicle meets US environmental regulations, and paperwork and pay whatever is necessary, and you'll be able to import the vehicle.
The biggest issue is the title, Id more or less have to drag it home with no title/parts only. And they hook it up with an american ranger VIN and title
That sounds pricey but i want one pretty bad now tho, just gonna have to save up some dough and just go make one mine.
