C cgk60 New Member Aug 31, 2011 #1 Hello I have 98 3.0, has any one had problems with the crank sensor. Mine works fine , heard the bushings can wear out prematurely. I'm thinking of replacing mine. I have 170000 on it.

C cgk60 New Member Sep 1, 2011 #2 I just looked under the hood and my 98 ranger looks like it doesn't have a distributor, so I guess I won't have to worry about worn bushings.

Redneckstone New Member Sep 5, 2011 #5 the cam sensor yes the bushings can wear out its very common on 3.0L at your mileage I would def replace it.
