2009 Ranger Sport 4x4 (automatic) 60,000 km
I've been noticing an increase in frequency and harshness (almost always when the truck hasn't been driven for several hours), when I engage it into reverse, it engages hard. A good hard clunk. Although I haven't checked the u-joints or transmission/engine mounts, I am doubtful either of these are the cause, because this only happens when engaging the transmission into reverse.
It's still under warranty for another 6 months and I would appreciate any thoughts, similar experiences or enlightenment that others might have on this issue.
