Hi everyone, I just bought a 2000 ranger XLT extended cab with the 3.0 v6, 4 speed manual, 98,000 miles and a 4 inch lift. So far I have done an oil change and new plugs and wires but I have a noise that is driving me nuts. I have eliminated engine noise as the culprit, it kind of sounds like a chain dragging on the ground or a bearing rolling around in a tin can. I have shaken everything that I can under the truck and have not found anything loose, thats including all available heatshields. It occurs while driving and stops when I stop I know its not the motor because I can take the truck out of gear while doing about 30 MPH and the sound just stays the same until I roll to a stop. The plugs all looked good(old but good) and the oil was old but free of debris. If anyone has any input im glad to hear it, thanks in advance
