We checked all the fuses and relays, and just replaced the GEM, but no luck so far. (Also recently replaced the spark plugs and dry-rotted wires/ connectors to them.) I have read some stuff about water damage, but haven't seen any (and it's been dry as a bone during the recent heatwave). I've been trying to research as much as possible but every time I think I find a lead it's either for the wrong model, another list of stuff we've already tried, or written for people who already mostly know what they're doing. I'm hoping someone here can help with clear, simple answers. I saw something about a pinpoint inspection but it was really confusing. Could someone explain that (if it is actually something that would help)? I know it's an old model but it's all we have right now... and we aren't really great under the hood, but can't afford to take it to someone to fix. ANY help is greatly appreciated, especially if there are diagrams! Thanks!
