im guessing the turbo is bigger because the vw was ment to haul a diesel generator trailer around with it
hazard-maine, I know the VW is stock keeper (I wouldn’t really change it either) but it would look good on a 4x frame, sort of a Sammy Pickup alternative. Nice little truck, looks good anyway it sits.
The same VW Rutledge Woods drove in "First cars"!!! Great little truck! Here back in the 80s we had some similar, but 3 door hatchback, called "GOL":

it was an airport truck, so all it did was drive around an airport, and yes it has a factory army lift and has 5 leaf springs
