Ok guys I got a problem with my driver side dash squeeking. When I installed the leds I bought from Terry a while back in my cluster. I noticed the dash squeeking. And the lights flickr on the tach side and on the left side of the speedometer. Would it be the led light itself has came out of the socket. This squeeking has been anoying for quite sometime, and I was just wondering if anyone else had this same problem.

  3. Mine squeaks from the passenger side somewhere under the glovebox lol Still haven't found out what it is. But it's possible that the bulb may have loosened up a bit. They're kinda hard to get in all the way and seem like they're in, but they're not.

I figured thats what It might be. I'm off till Sunday I'll take the dash back out and check it back out again.

  5. Good luck dude, I have to calibrate my speedo and temp gauge still and I really don't want to go through all the work of pulling the damn thing apart again... lol Hope you find what you're looking for though

The squeeking may be a seperate issue like cluster mount, or cluster bezel mount. As far as the LED's go, sometimes they need to be turned in pretty tight. I had some that were so tight I needed pliers to twist them out.

    This.

Sounds like a: install of cluster was rushed and shoved together or b: something isn't installed properly.

I've noticed when I leave out a screw or don't tighten the pain the neck steel kneeboard all the way, she'll squeak and rattle.

Do you happen to sell that in led Green lmfao.. I figured out what it is. My headliner is not installed at the moment and my ohc is bouncing up and down and around. So Untill I get my headliner installed Im just going to remove my ohc. The damn led panel I just ****ing bought from terry broke.

Now now, don't be putting the blame on Terry and/or his product....

Maybe try to be a little more informative instead of letting people conclude what my previous incomplete sentence said.

Typically, at least what I've experienced with T10 plug-in's, that condition is due to the bulb base being just a scotch too small, resulting in no light with the ever slightest of movement of the bulb. I've got a few doing that on my cluster. And I went eBay cheapos(regret).

Yeah let me clarify that. The product didn't brake because of terry. It worked when I got it. I think when I took the ohc off to take the liner out I pressed the led panel and it quit working then. So I will have to order a new led panel for the ohc.

How could it break? Those panels recess into the OHC, if anything it should be the OHC frame hitting the roof and the LED panel should have plenty of clearance inside

I think it was the way I was holding it cause I had my thumb on the panel itself. And I may have bent it. But would that have stopped the whole thing from working?

Wow, that's odd. Did both sides quit or just one side?

If both sides are out, it could be the common ground wire/pin broke at or around the connector.
If just one side is out, it could be that wire/pin broke.

I thought I built 'em to withstand almost anything... except Dcrymes :(

They are pretty sturdy and flexible, I would think the only way they could break is a ton of pressure

Terry I think the ground wire did come loose. I'll check it out. Be right back.

as you can see from the picture, it did come loose. i have it fixed. And will re install in the morning.
