I would like to put on right above the wheel well or the original place will work .

You can take those out and swap the ones like mine in the original spot or put them anywhere.

These are the ones. I dont have any in my truck, I was planning on putting them in, but you need them more than me and I can always get more at the yard

Why couldn't you slip a piece of 1/4" thick metal under there to act as a backer, drill a hole for the tie down bolt & sandwich it between the bed & the metal?

If all else fails, mount them suckers to the bottom of the bed

I need one in the middle on each side but maybe the ones at the rear will do, if they are at the rear hahaha
