this guy..lol you would have to see him to realize the whole story, one of those "look" and go "what the heck is he doing" kinda guys.
Damien, wrap the strap around his frame. Does your strap have clevis hooks at the end or loops? If loops, thread it through itself and put it on your ball if you got one. If not, borrow one. If it has hooks, hook the strap to itself on the frame of his 1500 and onto the main hitch of your truck. Put your truck into 4lo (shift into neutral and then shift into 4lo whether you have a lever or electric transfer case). Then try to ease him out. If that doesn't work, back up to his bumper and then yank him pretty good. Make sure he's in the truck and giving it a little gas to help him out. If that doesn't work then try it from the front of your truck and put it into reverse and try pulling him out that way. Reverse has a higher gearing in the tranny and has more power to pull.
If all else fails, get ya a snatch block and a rope. Tie the snatch block to a tree and run your rope through it. It literally doubles your pulling capacity. You just dont wanna jerk on it
Or just call a wrecker at that point if you don't have one, because it would be about the same to go out and buy one. Them ****ers are expensive.
Around here it's about $100 for a good one. Then he needs heavy enough rope for it too. So after that it'd be more worth calling the wrecker lol
do not back up to his bumper than yank it. back up alittle bit than yank it. little by little not bit by big and make sure he is flooring it digging into the ground so when u yank him he digs in fresh ground to help u
