Real easy to make them up for third gens. What I did was use wing nuts instead of the standard nuts on the end links and anti seized the hell outa them
Now on 98+ I dont think you could make it work.
Looks good!
FWIW, the 98+ carpets are different from 97 and down. The back of the extended cab has a hump in the cab where-as the 97 and down does not.
My beater has NO options...so the main thing I want is POWER STEERING. And my baby, has all the options I need (except for the locker getting installed in 2 weeks :D )
Unbolt the motor mounts, jack it up, stick a 4x4 (wood) under them, let the jack back down. You SHOULD have enough room to remove it with the suspension still in place.
Edit: Oh wait, nm you have a 98...i believe you have to remove the whole damn engine.
Use this...
No offense, but that's on PRIVATE property dude. The video said it was trails MEANT for this kind of abuse, where the owners didnt CARE how torn up the woods got. Now granted, its a little f-ed up how he treats it, but come on, let it go.
What locker you looking at?
Doesnt matter what gear ratio you have either. I wouldnt put a locker in a 7.5 tho. They're not strong enough for it IMHO. Swap an 8.8 in it with a L/S and you'll be good to go.
I thought you were 4x4 tho? So that means you should have an 8.8, right?
Im...
I used a stock 80-96 F150 u-bolt plates. I didnt use the expo one as the shock mounts are on them. I couldnt use the shock mount in my configuration so it wouldnt have looked as clean as Id like it to be.
They stopped making those Wrangler AT as far as I know. The newer version is that Goodyear Wranger AT/S. I wouldnt really mess w/ them as they're old tires.
