it should fit but check out crutchfield.com. their prices are a little bit higher but they are awesome. they will provide everything you need at a discounted price. if you want i can refer so if you spend 100 bucks or more youll get 20 off. you will need a radio, wire harness, and an install kit.

    i got this one actually
    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1302400UB/Pioneer-DEH-2400UB.html?tp=5684

when i posted this, i already installed new speakers in the door. they are kickers. but after i installed the new radio, they made the rear speakers krackle so i replaced those with performance teknique or something like that. they work and sound great. all i need now is a sub and amp. the radio isnt the best built, the buttons for the channels (1-6) feel cheaply put together but work fine. i usually use my phone anyways.

Almost any aftermarket radio is better than OEM.

    Ok on the speakers.

Someone on another site suggested to disconnect the rear speakers when you have the sub.
I have not installed a sub YET but hope to and will try the setup without the rear speakers.
Not sure how it will turn out or sound but I am no audiophile so time will tell.

Try it when you get the sub and see if they are talking true or not.

good luck on the sub, good you got new tunes. $hit riding without anything.

yeah i was stuck with my phone for a while and it wasnt the same. and the speakers arent the best,i know, i just wanted something cheaper but better then stock. and im happy with them. i found a sub and amp for 200. gotta save up for it, and try to find a place to install it. idk why i would remove the rear speakers, it doesnt make sense.

Why would you disconnect the rear speakers with a sub? Being an audiophile, that is the worst idea you could possibly follow.

With a woofer, you need everything you can to compensate for the massive amounts of low end bass. Removing the rear speakers from that equation will cause you to beat on the front speakers harder and eventually blow them out before their life span has come about.

ive heard that if you have a reg cab a sub can do the same as a sub. but unplugging them because you have a sub sounds like a stupid idea after you already have them.

I do not know much about a high end audio systems, so I searched for a site that might set me on the right road as far as what amp to use.

All of the sites (no names because I do not know them) had at least one person come back to me with you won’t believe the sound with a sub and all of them suggested taking the rear std speakers out… funny !

My idea was that they may be right and it wouldn’t hurt to check it out.

So my thought is why would anyone, that knows audio systems, suggest that someone’s ideas on a different way to hook up a system was stupid ?

Good Luck on which ever way you hook up your system and do not hook it up any way different than the old four speaker system.

yeah i would keep it the way it is, just add amp and sub. are you looking for a really good amp and sub? i heard you should get a lower watt amp because it will stop you from blowing your sub.

First off, I know very little about audio system, give me an Amateur Radio and I can at least make it transmit.
I like Pioneer Systems and since Pioneer Corporation paid their engineering team to develope and post a system integration matrix on their site I used it.
I bought the speakers and amp based on that matrix and the head unit I have and I will return to it to determine the sub, which will be a single 10” shallow mount unit per Pioneer Spec’s.

So as far as blowing the sub or my speakers, first I am hoping I purchased the right stuff for the job and second I do not play my tunes extra loud, I like to turn it up some but not let everyone in the neighborhood hear me coming.

yeah me either. i hate people who have bass that shakes me windows from down the street. but i listen to dubstep and electro so occasionally i want high bass. so i will turn it up.

Turn up the bass once in a while, even country sounds great with extra bass.

I have heard that once you install an amp/sub setup you will not believe the difference in the overall sound.

Yeah. The speakers don't have the bass even though the radio trois to put bass through them. So without the bass it should sound tons better.

Not that you are ready to buy BUT look at the Pioneer System Matrix and see what they say will work with what…

    http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Fit-Guide

A lot of info but the higher the Stage Number the more it will cost.

Pick your radio then see what is available.

It is always good to see what is out there and also the pricing on the site is always higher than some place like Sonic Electronix and you can buy a little at a time.

later / luck on your choices.
