I would like to integrate 4 lights on it eventually but nothing massive. I dont even think I;d use a separate light bar but just install the lights on the roof rack itself.
i do like the look of it and small on hit on my mpg wouldnt bother me but id hate to to drop below 20MPG when I am doing 22 MPG right now
I did not notice ANY impact on my MPG's when I installed my Hella's on my roll bar. Granted that is not quite the same thing, but I would think that if you were going to see a big hit with the roof rack/lights I would at least see a minimal hit with the roll bar/lights..
Did this ever get done ? I voted yes but because it's your truck your way. What about a Nissan short truck roof rack, always wondered if it would fit.
Roof rack Seems to me I saw either on this forum or FRF that you have to cut it down but it had a "How To"
No I havent done it (which is why there is no How to yet either) Funds of lack thereof are preventing me from doing it
OK on time and money… I have so many yard jobs it is hard to find time to work on the truck. Luck with it. Before you do it, look at the Nissan Truck Rook Rack. Rugged looking but not sure if the roof mounts will line up.
personally I rather put ford parts on a ford truck, I hate seeing other company parts on a different make. I.E. Jaguar emblems on a toyota.
You can pick up a roof rack at a salvage yard for like $20... i picked up two, one for $15 and another for $20.
