so i was working at my boss's shopping mall he owns today, cleaning out the basement, and driving the company's 06 duramax before it gets traded in tomorrow. i filled the one dumpster with junk, had a load of scrap in the truck and one last bag of trash, go to throw it in the other dumpster, and what's half buried in there? a pair of damn near mint lowback GM bucket seats, from about a 1963-1966 full size car ( think impala, gran prix). they looked barn fresh, probibly stored inside for a LONG time. passenger side seat is PERFECT, drivers side is very nice with 2 tiny tears and mabe 2" of the piping pulling away from the edge where you get in and out of the car. i gave 'em to my dad for his '56 or '57 or '54 chevy projects. he's still in disbeleif i found a pair in the dumpster, lol, but he got 'em all cleaned up and i took a couple pics for you guys. enjoy

my dad spend about 20 minutes of the drive home just saying "i can't beleive you found those seats in a dumpster" over and over, lol. i don't think they'll fit. but i do happen to have a pair of '65 A body seats for my buick that might work, lol. thanks!
thanks man, i gotta say though it's been a LONG time scince i've found something this good for free. last big freebie i can think of was the turbo 400 auto trans for my buick i found in a medow, that was over 6 years ago. when he saw what they were he dived headfirst into the dumpster and had them out on the ground before i could turn around, lol. he was thinking '65 impala / bel air seats too, scince they don't have any other GM logo or trim on 'em. Thanks! i don't even think they are repro'd, i know at the swap meets roughly $350 will get you a set of decent tracks and springs with some material still hanging there. finished seats can run about $800+
