me and my cousin lifted it off.... i'd say it's about 200lbs... not exactly sure it's more awkward than anything else..... got my tails electrical taped to the bumper for in the morning so i can go spray the frame off and then gonna rust reform it and then lift....
Damn that sucks about those clips. Try NAPA. They usually have stupid **** like that believe it or not.
Get them at the dealer, they shouldnt be too much. I will check my garage for some tomorrow. Which ones do you need? There are two types under there for the bumper and bed
the ones that the t-55 bolts screw into to hold the bed to the frame... my mechanic thinks he knows someone that may have some.... i really cant see paying 10 bucks for them if i dont have to....
cool hopefully i find one tomorrow that dont cost an are and leg.... if i cant find one would it be alright to run it without the one bolt until i can get one from you or parts store?
then once i cut the old one off i'll move one to the corner and put the new one in the middle.... the one that broke was over the the gas tank closest to the cab....
So to do a lift the bed does not have to come off , but up is that right.? unless you are going to rustproof or sound dampen am I thinking correctly or am I way off hahaha. only thing I ever lifted was weights and jacked up the rear ends of my chevelle and torino
