Just a General Question, Why do you have your truck. I bought my truck since I wanted a Multipurpose vehicle, Something that can carry a fridge, bikes, dirt, Move your house while pulling a trailer. I opted for the 4L since I love the look the sport and wanted the most out of my ranger Experience in terms of reliability, power and performance. I could have a bought an SUV and do what I listed, but most SUVs dont come manual matched to a higher performance Engine, plus a truck bed will always beat out the rear of an SUV/van anyday

I have wanted a truck similar to the splash. When I was a kid I delivered auto parts and drove by a ford dealership everyday and saw 2 splashs' sitting in their lot. I would stop every day and look at them. I have wanted it since I was about 16, and could never afford one. Getting married at 20, having kids, kind of put it on the back burner for a while. Then divorce came along and set it back even more. So I started my own business, along with working full time, got caught up on just about everything, saved money and looked for my truck. It took me over a year to find this one and when I saw it...I knew it had to be mine. I bought it in Long Island NY and this February will be 2 years that I've had it
you show me a ranger that can move a house i will by it lol.. the rangers are compact and good for around here for hunting and getting off road. plus it never hurts to be able to haul something when you need to
I bought my 97 back in 2003. I actually was having new brake lines and brakes put on my jeep comanchee. They lent me that truck while the work was being done. I fell in love with it. I then bought it. Since then, I have grown accustom to the reliability of the engine, overall looks and the simplicity of it. I ended up trading it off for an '01, had a brain fart and thought a jeep wrangler would be fun, shortly after traded the jeep for the current 99 ranger. Couldnt be happier.
Nope, not at all. I truely believe the ohv has more bottom end grunt than the sohc motor. I wouldn't mind having the sohc, but its not a deal breaker for me.
Cuz I needed a better daily commuter than my 91 and wanted something that got around in the snow with ease and I loved the look of the 06+ fx4s the most...
i wanted a tacoma but my buddy had a ranger and i really liked it..i drive alot between school and in general and needed something more fuel efficent than my 4.6 F-150.plus my 150 wasnt 4x4 and where i live and my love for the outdoors my ranger was a great pick
I wanted a truck mostly for off roading, and hauling capabilities. I originally wanted a Ram 1500, but saw this and figured I would get the gas mileage for college, so I bought it.
Always wanted a truck because my uncle always had one and i wanted to be like him well he passed away in 05 and needed a newer vehicle in 08 and knew I wanted a truck. Was looking for a s10 ranger or Dakota and it had to be a stick. Since my uncle taught me to drive one and wanted one ever since. Found my ranger at a car lot and fell in love with it. Put down a deposit for them to hold it for me 2 days after the test drive and we t back a week layer and picked it up.
simple reasons, simple tastes Simple answer ... 'cause I wrecked my '89 Toyota 1-ton dually flatbed and needed a truck. Supplement to that ... I was broke, it was $500 and it ran Actual reason (not cause and effect as above) - I am a self-employed handyman and I need a truck to work out of, hauling tools and materials to different jobs. What I got ... '86 Ranger, 2.9 V6, auto tranny (I wish it was stick), long bed, standard cab, less than 100K miles, and no major issues (once I changed the tranny fluid and got it shifting again).
Damn dude.... An 86, with less than 100k? How much did you pay for it? If you don't mind me asking, that is.
i'll show u y i have this truck. when all the parking spots are taken and all there is is a snow mound............ for when ur going 30 to 35 mph and want to drift in the sand like fast and furious tokyo drift............. when u need to get the that other side of a swamp to reach the deer u just shoot..... when u want to prove that dodges are gay and retarded.... for when a super duty F-350 get stuck on its frame and than the F150 that tries to pull it out digs itself to the frame and they call u to come over and pull them both out.... and the last one cuz it is just so damn ***i....
I don't have a truck yet, but the main reason I want one is because this: doesn't really have enough space to carry around all the stuff associated with this: And because it's cooler
