Title says it all! What kind of brakes and rotors do you use or prefer? I prefer Centric brand for brakes and rotors. Its my first time using them, they came highly recommended and so far my truck can stop on a dime!

the ones that stop my truck really, I never had to do the brakes yet so I have nio idea whats in there yet
i have some kinda racing ceramic slotted pads from a place my dad gets them and semi truck brake stuff at his work and i have autozone rotors for now. but i have been looking into the ones kozal has
Clinton, you read my mind.. My breaks seem to be getting progressively worse and I was looking into replacement ones.
Rotors are ACDelco and the pads are Wagner. The pads are quiet and extreamly low dust and I didn't even know they were low dust when I bought them. But its a plus and it stops great. Also the factory front brakes didn't get replaced till the truck had 95k miles on it. Not bad
i just bought Duralast rotors and Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic brake pads and love the setup. My be just regular rotors, but they are still smooth as a baby's bottom! Ceramic brakes were the best thing I ever put on the truck
im only on my 2nd set of front rotors, original set went over 15 years/130,000 miles. both sides developed a crack which caused some horrible pedal pulsating when braking. i just went with the basic autozone replacement parts, pads are the mid-grade stuff from autozone also, rear shoes are the cheap autozone stuff. works fine for me. i usually eat up a set of front pads every other year, pulling the trailer tends to cause it to eat up brakes, id probly go through a set a year if i towed more with it than i do. old rotor, (both sides had a similar crack): new rotor, i drilled and tapped it to use 1/4-20 s.s. screws to retain the lockout hub with: and for the rear drums, i got drums specified for a '94 areostar 4.0 van, the inside diameter of the drum is the same as stock (10") but they are a heavier drum, with cooling fins, less likely to warp, weigh about 10 pounds more than stock, they dont stop any better, but they are a more heavy-duty drum. stock drum: areostar replacement drum: both drums for sise by side comparison: the areostar drums were about $50 per drum, also came from autozone.
Whatever rotors came on the truck, and wagner thermoquiet pads. Love em. Worked only off of them for three months while the back brakes fell apart and never failed lol
well i run Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic and Wagner rotors...looking into some EBC slotted rotors since my rotors heat up and warp way to often 3rd set in 4 years
I have Oreilly's rotors even though I work at Advance. But I got them back in 07 when I worked at Oreillys. And their midgrade break best pads. Next pads and rotors I change over I'm getting Our wearever brand rotors and Wagner thermoquiet ceramic pads.
