I don't know if this goes here but here goes. I don't know what this thing is or where it goes to. I want to guess it goes to the A/C because the air is only coming out of the defrost vents and not the fronts. A local shop forgot to bolt it back where it was and the exhaust manifolds burnt a hole through it :furious: and I need to know what it is so I can either buy a new one and replace it or fix it myself. Thank you! PS. Never going to ANY local shops anymore or non local. I hate other people working on my truck! Unless I need a alignment check, then I'll go

That has something to do with the heat. You'd be better off running to a junk yard and pulling it out of another truck rather than buying it new
that is the vacuum ball.... it basically helps build more vacuum than just the lines alone...... either go to a jy and get one or call your local stealership and get one i had to get one last year and i think it was only around 20 bucks...... and if they havent changed its placement it gores in between the passenger fender and fender well......
Awesome! Thank you everyone for the help! Unfortunately, my local junkyard closed down so I have no junkyard that is close by which sucks! I'll probably head to the dealership and see if they can get me one. Again, thank you all (especially Brinker) lol
