Maybe someone can help me out on this one. Have a 2012 XLT and their is a tapping noise somewhat like a type writer (for those that don't know they are pre Computers). the tapping noise is extremely annoying when it starts up. You can stop it by rotating the control knob into heating mode. However being a Queenslander we do not require additional heat, so when we return the control to anything below 22 degrees it starts again at random. Even when the ignition is turned off the noise can continue for 15 minutes. Haven't got the guts to tear the dash apart to find the issue. Can someone advise
