I have a 92 ford ranger xlt with a 2.3l I can't find the wire in my harness to hook a tach up to the truck didn't come orginal with one I was gonna put one in for the hell of it with shift light any help would be appreciated Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

That's weird because my 91 2.3L didn't come with a tach, and when I plugged one in from a 6 cyl it worked. I believe it's already there. The problem I have though is that the tack reads 333rpm less than it should because mine is a 4 cyl and the 6 cyl is configured different. At least I have a tach and when it reads 2,000 rpm, I just add 333 to it. I tried to find a 4 cyl tach but no luck.
