Reconstructed vehicles

As the title says what are they worth? My truck on kbb.com says my truck is worth 9 k in best condition. It's in great condition besides being reconstructed so how do you put a price on them

an R title usually cuts the vehicles value anywhere from 30-60%

I bought my 00 for 4500 lol, and it was mint and had clean title ...

Id start out at your normal price of 9k then after a week or two drop it to 7k.

KBB isnt always right either... They say a 2000 Excursion with a 7.3 diesel and 90k miles is only worth $14k when its really worth about $24k lol

R titles pretty much force you to cut the price in half unfortunatley. My ranger is an R title, book on it when I bought it was 10k, The seller wanted 5k, no one wanted it due to the R title. I ended up buying it for 4k. Some people are afraid of the R titled vehicles due to the fact they are afraid of it not being right, things breaking etc. I have faith in them, especially Rangers. You can prorbably get away with selling it at 70% of the book value as long as the frame, engine and trans is solid.
