Not knowing I shouldn't have, I adjusted the throttle plate stop screw on my 98 2.5 Ranger. I read that in the event that happens, simply to unplug the Idle Control Valve and adjust the idle to about 800 RPM. Then plug the ICV back in. I did just that and it seems to be running fine Is that the proper way to set the throttle stop screw? If not, what is? Thanks in advance.
