I'm going on a trip this weekend. Fresh oil and filter. I bought a PCV valve too (Fram) but I'm not going to use Fram products anymore. The one the book said was for my 1992 4.0 had the hole out the side along with a smaller hole above it that came with a plug. The one on there now goes straight up and the hose won't work for the new one. I don't happen to have any hose that size so I put the old one back on. It rattles so I suppose it's good till I get a different PCV (motorcraft).
