How would you ship it? When I sold my old one it didn't work when the guy got it...

It's already in ship mode and worked fine prior to being put in ship mode. It would be wrapped up and fits in a medium priority box. I have shipped a few of these before and have never had an issue.

I recieved mine last year after a trip of 8000 miles, the box arrived in mint conditions as usual.

If my box could make it through 8K miles in excellent shape and a couple of customs workers who looks like neanderthals, Im sure you will recieve it in mint conditions as well.
