I have a 98 ranger step side xlt super cab truck. The muffler rotted out and a friend of mine gave me 2 flowmaster series 40 delta flow single-in 3"/single-out 3". I don't really want to split up the pair, so i need some ideas as exhaust is not my specialty. I had stock exhaust before, cats are still in place. I am looking for that mean throaty sound, I want to keep hp and mpg also. Can I use both? What parts would I need? Where should I dump?

Sell them and get a single in dual out flowmaster super 44. Its cheaper and sounds tons better. You dont need an x-pipe or 2 catalytic conversters to do it either.
