95 Ford ranger 3.0. after driving home from work I started to notice the temp starting to raise and thankfully got home quick. After, I started to hear water dripping quickly from the bottom of the truck, and found water being released from somewhere behind the motor and even shooting it upwards, but I wasn't able to find the source. I'm thinking it was some sort of hose that burst or something. Wondering if anyone has experienced this leak before? Sorry for the bad pic wasn't able to get a good angle. Thank you.

Heater core? Freeze plug on back on engine? Kind of hard to tell without seeing the truck myself. Get yourself a bright flashlight and a mechanic's mirror and check behind the block. I'm not certain on 3.0l engines of there would be any freeze plugs on the block in the bellhousing or not.

Maybe heater hose, or the core?
