Was wondering how you hooked them up and what the SWR is AND how are they working ? I have to say for a 16 year old to have this nice a truck you must be a hard worker ? Also, what is the oval under the Ranger on the side of the truck ?
I just hooked them up with a dual coax cable. The SWR is not perfect, but it's pretty good!! I couldn't tell you exactly what is was though. And to answer your question about being a hard worker...I have a full time job in the summer at a diesel repair shop and part time during the school year!
If you decide to check the SWR or to tune the antennas, use a piece of standard 50 ohm coax not the co-phased harness, tune each antenna for low SWR then add the co-phased harness. You won't be able to tune with the two antenna harness so you have to do it one at a time. LUCK Actually it was an observation, you don't get a good looking truck like that with accessories without being a hard worker. Good for you, keep it up the rewards far out weigh the alternative. I am not familiar with it, what is "Team Realtree" ? Keep up the good work.
I bought a SWR tuner with the cb. I already tuned them each individually with the SWR meter. I have them as good as they are going to get right now. I have the tunable tips all the way extended. Team realtree is a brand of camo by the way!
